Empty-headed

Yesterday I realized that I have posted on all but two days since Christmas Day. I’ve run out of posting steam. There are no words, no ideas right now, so I need to charge my battery for a while. For a day or two I’ll visit my favorite blogger friends to see what everyone has been up to. After I click “publish” tonight, I’ll fold a load of laundry and watch a mindless TV show. I’ll be back in a few days, or sooner than that if I catch the Great Blue Heron standing on the side of my pond!

At the right side of this photo, there is a glimpse of Chickadee feathers exiting the feeder.
See? I need a break.

Put your feet up and enjoy your break! There's plenty of mindless TV to pick from. I will patiently await your return!

Enjoy your break. Soak in life like a sponge so when you come back here you'll ooze lots of juicy stories for us all to drink in.

Hey, what is great about blogs is that you don't always have to say something! But glad you found your chickadee picture with it flying away! I have taken many pictures like that before! Enjoy TV and hope you watch Hero's, I will be!

I hear you Mary! I hope you enjoy your recharge time. Sometimes I just don't know what to say that would be of *any* interest on my blog. I'm going to recharge my batteries here pretty soon (in March) for two straight weeks. No computer, just soaking in rays while sightseeing, taking photos & videos, reading great books & eating fresh food.
P.S. I've already created blog entries for each day - a photo a day type of thing, so nobody forgets about me - LOL!

Oh I so understand this! Rest on your laurels. You'll know when it's time to post again. It may not be the heron - but, some bit of mystery or glitter will come along and your sails will fill and you'll be underway again . . .

I join the chorus of voices--enjoy your break.
What else is there to say?
(Right now I am watching the Westminster Dog Show--now that's a great way to relax.)

You know, I never felt pressure to blog every night until lots of people started reading it.
So this pressure is a sign that you are one of the cool kids.
Rest. Recoup. Recharge. Return.

Enjoy the time away Mary. It's good sometimes to just "be" and let the creative juices come back as they will. This is here to feed you as well as the many people who check in with you daily. We all need time now and again to recharge. Blessings to you.

Mary, you're right to let this blog know who is the boss!
Maybe after you're rested you could try the 5 things tag.
