Wednesday Captions

Dark storm clouds blanketed us in shade and a tiny bit of cold rain fell. We were very quiet outside.

Mary- I loved this one! Who needs Chet Baker? Your girls are sooo expressive.
The dogs having a blast with paper bag makes me think of little kids having more fun with the boxes than the presents.
That last picture of your reflection reminds me a bit of the Phantom of the Opera- the musical version with that studly hotty Gerard Butler! Ooohh I love that movie- think I'll dig up the DVD this weekend...

(Grrrrr--I had a comment all typed then realized I was in another name--I am webmaster for our church & was doing some work on that. . .forgot to change.)
OK--every time I see the photos of your girls (and of Chet Baker) I get the urge to drive down to Stewartstown & get a pup. I do check the website to see what's available.
But I am not sure my 1/2 border collie would handle that. She is even jealous of the cats!

I do love your dogs! Chloe is so regal looking with her gray muzzle. Bbbb Bella seems to be the instigator of the two? They just seem so clean all the time. Maybe I need to get me some bostons. Excuse me while I go pick up yet another wet furball.

I heard someone chuckling out loud and it was me - a real from the diaphragm Chloe-and-Bella-induced- out-loud-laugh.

If there were a Caption Writing Emmy - you'd get my nomination.

Mary! Thank you. I'm just about to hand the laptop over to my hubby.

Mary, those little B&W girls are so cute! Their fur looks so sleek and shiny. Do they mind if you diddle with their ears?

But what is it with dogs eating poop? Mine are the same way only with cat and deer poop (TMI, sorry!)

Thanks for sharing...those pix made my day!

You slay me.

'I don’t know what I’m thinkin’ but I’m thinkin’. Good, sweet Bella.
I love your dogs.

Mary, Your little girls are so precious. I can see why you love them so much - they have such expressive faces and do cute things. And I'll bet they are good friends and company. I wanted to ask if they shed very much. They seem so much like pugs, but our little ones shed like mad!

What a really fun post - I particularly like the ghost at the very end.

She looks pretty friendly - not scary at all.

Thanks alot,
Alyssa

Cool self-portrait! And I'm jealous of all your luck with pictures of hummingbirds and (hummingbacks). I'll have to stake out the feeder and see if I can get ONE!

Alyssa, Bostons are a very clean breed. The don't smell like dogs at all unless they spend a lot of time outside then they will smell sweaty for a minutes after they are indoors. They are also good for people with allergies because they don't have an undercoat. They're low shedding and always smell sweet.

Mary, you know I am a bigggg advocate of the BT but I really think you ought to dig up those pictures of the Delaware house when you came home to a snow storm in July. Bella and Chloe had demolished pillows I believe. LOLOL. To hear you and Julie these dogs are without flaw hahaha and we all know that is not ALWAYS the case! Loved the pictures of the girls, Possumlady is right Chloe is looking very regal these days and dear Bella is just too cute no matter how much empty air is between those ears! Thanks for sharing.

Dear Mary,
Glad you had a few drops of rain and at least some clouds.
The doggies are so cute.
I can tell they love you.
I have been feeling like a ghost myself for a couple of months.
Glad you are feeling better.

Mary - your "pups" are so entertaining. I love what you did with scripting their "thoughts." Looks like Bella and Chloe are a lot of fun to have around. Pets are such sweet company, and can be comforting when we feel down, and can be expressive in others ways when we are at our best. That must be why I have so many cats and dogs around me! :)

So adorable! I love your ghost shot! We should all have some double-paned window self-portraits! Maybe that can be your next project! :)

Now these bunny-sniffing girls are so funny that the laughing had to loosen up your locked jaw, right Mary?
Your leather sofa looks a lot like ours, too - but no pups on mine.

Funny captions and expressive dogs-I'm starting to worry-The dogs remind me of myself when I'm walking around my yard.

Mary said...

Larry - LOL! I can relate to that!
