It's killing me to post without words but after last night's fiasco I need time to fold some laundry and kick back for a while. Yep, I blew it on "Wordless Wednesday". No surprise... ;o)

Your almost wordless Wednesday is just fine.
Lovely photos--they don't need words.

I bet your little house finch will be able to fledge her brood before the swallows are ready to refurbish. The young finches stay in the nest not even two weeks after hatching--10 days max. You might need to remove the ring of poop from the nest rim after they leave, though. Funny how they do that. Thanks for letting her stay. She's sweet.

Mary, you show-off.

Those gorgeous pics don't need words, do they?

Being wordless takes practice . . . you'll get there. Great photos! Really great photos!

Thanks, everyone. I was glad to at least have photos to share! It's difficult to write coherently when you are constantly fuming over your computer woes. Better days are ahead, I hope :o)

Julie, I'm happy to hear the swallows may be able to move in again. I'll make sure the next is poop-free.

Have you ever noticed that silence is sometimes so much more soothing than words. Your post was lovely today as were the pictures. Mary you are developing into quite the photographer. Perhaps if the job gets to be too much of a hassle you might want to consider a career change.

Jane and Dorothy, nothing would please me more than to stalk birds and insects, gaze at the moon and sun, all... day... long. But I'd need a real job to afford a new camera!

Beautiful photos, as always, Mary! A well known expression said that
"A good picture worth a few hundred words"!
Many hugs!

Mary, no matter how small you make them, they are words! I think I would like wordless wednesday, I need to check that out.

Mary - I'm just catching up with your blog. These pictures are so wonderful. No words necessary. I'm going to run my laptop over to my recovering hubby to show him the pictures of your pups on the previous post. The smiles will help him heal :0) Thanks.
Oh! Kudos on getting your schedule back to your own liking. Excellent!
